Well …. Hello There! How’s it going? Now that you’re here in my corner of the blogosphere, lemme introduce you to my brand new best friend – Strawberry Banana Oats Smoothie! Yes, my friends. This smoothie has become one of my obsessions in the mornings.
This perfect combination of strawberries, banana, almonds, yogurt and oats is packed with nutrients, fiber and protein and helps me feel fuller longer. It’s not only delicious, but also healthy, quick and ready in less than 5 minutes.
I take it with me everywhere for my morning errands, so it makes a great breakfast to-go on most of my busy mornings. Hint of honey adds to the sweetness. You can add or reduce honey as per your taste. I sometimes add vanilla just to add a little flavor.
I love to top my smoothies. This one I mostly top with old fashioned oats, chopped almonds or chopped frozen fruit. I sometimes use raisins too. Ummm …. so delicious!
So make it a point to try it tomorrow morning, or the day after but do try it for an energy packed meal. You are easily making your breakfast in less than 5 minutes without missing essential nutrients required from the most important meal of the day.

- Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Garnish with oats or chopped almonds.
