Summers are here, and what better way to enjoy the warm weather than eating something sweet, something cold. Strawberry Yogurt Parfait makes a perfect breakfast or snack for these warm / hot months.
I usually like to make and eat Parfaits in the summer months when we can buy fresh strawberries, but if you feel like having one when they are not in season, feel free to use the frozen strawberries.
You can use regular granola or Vanilla Almond Granola plus Flax Seeds. Enjoy the delicious flavor of vanilla as well as get the benefits of flax seeds. Flax also has great fiber content along with Omega-3 fatty acids. Sweet, comforting, and delicious flavor that it adds to the parfait makes this snack out of this world delicious.
Almonds and vanilla added to the granola makes for light, crunchy and mildly sweet snack for those hot or warm afternoons in summers. A treat for kids and adults that offers great taste plus high fiber and protein.
What a wonderful way to enjoy your cozy summer afternoons!
